Dr. Amy Dellinger Page has been selected as one of two women faculty at Appalachian State University to participate in the 2015 BRIDGES Academic Leadership for Women Program. BRIDGES is an intensive professional development program for women in higher education who seek to gain or strengthen their academic leadership capabilities. It is designed to help women identify, understand, and move into leadership roles in the academy. Participants are selected through a competitive nomination and selection process on their respective campuses and again at the UNC-system level. The theme for the BRIDGES program this fall will be “transformational leadership”. We congratulate Dr. Page on her nomination and selection, and look forward to her sharing her obtained knowledge with the Department and App State!
