The Department of Sociology would like to recognize our outstanding seniors for Spring 2020. We first recognize Rainey Dellinger. Dellinger, a senior from Charlotte, NC, is double majoring in sociology and communication studies. After graduation, she plans to find a career in the broadcasting industry. “My time at App State has helped me grow, not only in my educational career but as a person who cares about those around me!” 
Our second outstanding senior is Carter Blue. Blue, a senior from Chapel Hill, NC, will be graduating from the Department of Sociology with a concentration in social inequalities. After graduation, she will be the Client Services Advocate at OASIS Inc., a domestic violence non-profit in Boone. “Ellen Lamont has been a huge driving force behind my success in this department and I am so grateful for all of her help, guidance, and support through these last several years. Thank you, Ellen!” 
Finally, we recognize Sarah Caudill. Caudill, a senior from Franklinville, NC, will be graduating from the Department of Sociology with a concentration in social inequalities. After graduation, she would like to work for a year before going on to get a master’s degree in international relations. “My time at App State has been filled with great friends and new experiences. I met my best friend and roommate of four years, studied abroad in South Africa, and interned for the State Department. Every minute of my time here has been filled with memories.” Congrats!
