Delaney Potts talks about her work as a research assistant with Dr. Trudeau :
As a research assistant for Professor Trudeau, I analyze how the media portrays Black gay men who are victims of interpersonal violence. My work involves conducting media analysis, reviewing academic literature, and compiling research findings. I dedicate 12-15 hours per week to this project, with regular meetings every Friday to discuss progress and refine our approach. I really enjoy the experience of working with a professor on sociological research and gaining experience and knowledge as an upcoming sociologist. -Delaney Potts, Senior, Sociology with a concentration in Criminology
