The Southern Sociological Society (SSS) held its 2025 Annual Meeting from April 9–12 at the Sheraton Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina. Centered on the theme “Sociology of the Future and the Future of Sociology,” the conference was led by SSS President Dawn T. Robinson of the University of Georgia and Program Chair Lisa Slattery Walker of UNC Charlotte.
